Terms and Conditions
Confirmation
We will confirm your booking upon receipt of payment. Please check the details of confirmation immediately – we cannot accept any liability for incorrect booking details unless you notify us in writing within 7 days. No booking is final until payment is received in full. We reserve the right not to accept a booking in which case any payment will be refunded.
Accommodation
Accommodation is mostly in shared rooms of up to 4 beds. If you have specific accommodation preferences please ensure that you notify us when you book though we cannot guarantee that we’ll be able to meet your preference. We can only accept single room reservations in the case of significant medical conditions. If you have particular needs, please contact us by for clarification before booking.
Health
If you currently have mental health issues, please contact us to discuss whether coming to Vajraloka will be suitable or not, before booking. Our retreats can be quite intense and challenging, and require a certain level of emotional stability.
Mobile phones
Ideally we ask that you either switch off your phone for the duration of the retreat or better still hand it in to our office for safe-keeping and to help you avoid distraction. If you have to use a mobile phone during a retreat please do so outside the grounds so as to avoid distracting other retreatants. Please bring an alarm clock as an alternative to your phone.
Restrictions
No recreational drugs, cigarettes or alcohol are permitted on the premises. If you do smoke cigarettes please ensure that you leave the grounds before doing so. It is a requirement that you do not consume recreational drugs or alcohol during a retreat. If a retreatant is discovered to be under the influence of recreational drugs or alcohol they may be asked to leave in which case no refund of any payments will be made.
